12:30 – Welcome and Opening Information – President Dan Persons

12:45 to 1:45 – Trapping Those Pesty Critters ~ aka coyotes – Foster Mooney

             Types of traps and how to set them ~ learn how to do a “dirt” box.

1:45 to 2:15 – Time to visit the trade show area and win door prizes

2:15 to 4:30 – Doing it Right with Chef John Schumacher.  Don’t miss this one!  Learn how to cut, prep and cook lamb from start to finish with Chef John, the Game Gourmet.  John grew up on a small farm in western Minnesota, is a worldwide traveler, and a life-long hunter and fisherman.  He brings with him over 30 years of professional experience as the owner/operator of the renowned Schumacher’s New Prague Hotel and Restaurant. John will have his cookbooks available for purchase and autographing.

4:30 to 4:45 - Time to visit the trade show area and win door prizes

4:45 – Annual Membership meeting with budget presentation, By-law updates, and election of officers and board directors.  Complimentary hors d’oeuvres & cash bar.

6:30 – Leg of Lamb dinner      7:30 Entertainment/Speeches  8:00 Live Auction

7:30am – Registration for MLWP conference and MIWW contest open. Trade Show area open.

8:00 to 8:50 – Predator Management – what are the choices? – Janet McNally

8:30 to 8:45 – Orientation with MIWW judges and contestants – Glenette Sperry

8:45 to 10:20 – All MIWW contestants in garments with judges & style show rehearsal

8:50 to 9:00 - Time to visit the trade show area and win door prizes

9:00 to 10:20 – Update on LRP-Lamb program with suggestions for dealing with the current grain and feed markets – Bret Oelke, University of Minnesota extension educator

10:20 to 10:30 - Time to visit the trade show area and win door prizes

10:30 to 11:20 – Selecting and training livestock guard dogs – Janet McNally

10:30 to 12:30 – Workshops for MIWW contestants – Glenette Sperry/ Kathy Pususta

11:20 to Noon - Time to visit the trade show area and win door prizes.  Last chance to bid on MIWW silent auction items and pick up vendor products.  Trade show closes at noon.

Noon to 12:30 – Presentations by ASI and ALB representatives

 Youth program update and recognition – Sheilina Nohner

12:30 – Lunch                        1:00 Silver Bell presentations by Drewry and Roe families

1:30 to 2:30 - MIWW Fashion Show - Glenette Sperry        Followed by Closing Remarks by President Dan Persons            .           Silent Auction items will be available for pick-up as you leave.
